Gait Pilot is operated by CareWare CONSULTING LLC. This notice describes data practices for the Gait Pilot website and pre-release testing builds.

Website Inquiries

When you contact us by email, we only collect the contact details you provide in order to respond to your support request.

Anonymous Client Identifier (walker_id): GaitPilot does not require user accounts, emails, or passwords. Your device generates a random anonymous UUID (walker_id) to scope your cloud-synced sessions strictly to your device.
First-Name-Only & Local-Only Contact Numbers: Walker, Guardian, and Coach names are automatically reduced to first names only in session reports and live broadcasts. Guardian and Coach phone numbers are stored strictly on your phone to launch your local SMS app and are never uploaded to cloud servers.
Hardware Identifier Masking: External Bluetooth sensor MAC addresses are masked to their last 4 characters (WT901-XXXX) in all session summaries and cloud records.
User-Controlled GPS Privacy: Walkers can choose between Privacy Zone (~200m Start/End Trim) (default), Full GPS Route, or Metrics-Only (No GPS) for saved session reports and the Cloud Analysis Dashboard, and can independently toggle live GPS map visibility for Guardian, Coach, and each linked TV display.
Zero Data Monetization: We do not sell, rent, or monetize personal or biomechanical telemetry data.
